Who is Pike Burden

Pike was born a 104 miles from the mouth of the Mississippi in a city known for partying. Sadly, also known for hoodoo-ism and as a hub for marketing and selling Africans slaves. In fact, to get an inside look of the slave brutality in the 1800’s, Pike recommends reading Uncle Tom’s Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe.

Raised by God loving parents who instilled in Pike that he must love all people. However, taught NOT to run with the Philistines!  In other words, don’t hang-out with those who oppose God and his directives. In fact, not to associate with them, when possible.

As a young man, Pike was an apprentice in one of the last letterpress printing shops in America, right upriver from his birthplace. After leaving the industry birthed by Johannes Gutenberg, printer of the Gutenberg Bible, he moved into the field of music for a while, writing and eventually business ownership.

Religious Leanings

To be certain, Pike makes no apology for believing that The Christ, The Messiah, was and is the person born in Bethlehem Ephrathah – a small town near Jerusalem on the West Bank of the Jordan River to a Jewish couple. In fact, believes that this man called Jesus of Nazareth is God in the flesh.

Political Leanings

Pike is a staunch conservative to be sure, however, has opposed Republican presidents and members of Congress when they lean left.

Now that you know Pike’s leanings, stick around as you might be surprised by his writings concerning Politics and Religion. More importantly, Pike’s burden for TRUTH concerning these subjects.
